Position Summary

The College Relations Specialist, reporting to the College Relations Manager, is responsible for effectively recruiting talented students and recent graduates from universities and college campuses to fill job openings or internship positions for the Company. This includes, but is not limited to, recruitment efforts surrounding employer brand awareness, candidate engagement, and relationship building with colleges and universities.



Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Plans and executes on-campus recruiting events to promote the Athletico brand and opportunities
  • Cultivates a talent pipeline for Athletico current and future job opportunities by actively sourcing candidates from assigned schools and from other platforms
  • Manages full life cycle recruiting process including application, screening, interviewing, and selection, working closely with Field Operations and Talent Acquisition
  • Assists throughout the employment process, providing feedback, reporting data, and consulting on candidate selection as required
  • Gives presentations to sell students on the benefits and rewards offered by the organization
  • Develops and maintains professional relationships with colleges & universities and alumni professional organizations
  • Assists with development of college relations program and recruitment strategies
  • Works with Marketing and other internal key stakeholders to increase company brand awareness among potential recruits and professional relationships
  • Travels frequently (up to 50%) during fall and spring recruiting seasons, with occasional evening and weekend commitments
  • Manages special projects as needed

Education and Experience: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

  • High school diploma required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources or related experience preferred
  • 1-3 years of college (or other relevant) full life-cycle recruiting experience on a national, multi-location basis. Intermediate level of knowledge of full lifecycle campus recruiting components, including events, networking, sourcing, screening, interview prep., offer/decline discussions, pay negotiation, and candidate due diligence
  • Experience in developing and executing sourcing strategies
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems and recruiting platforms
  • Experience using Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment, interacting with all levels within an organization or school

  • Knowledge of applicant tracking systems
  • Ability to travel during peak recruiting periods

 Language Skills

  • Ability to read, write and speak English proficiently
