Position Summary

The Senior Rehabilitation Aides will assist the Office Coordinator and clinician by performing requested administrative and clinical duties. They will greet patients as they arrive to the clinic and work closely with the clinicans as a liason for the clinic.



Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Greeting patients as they arrive for their appointment and discreetly informing clinician of their arrival
  • Administering modalities at the clinician’s request
  • Maintaining physical environment of facility
  • Cleaning and equipment logs
  • Assisting and/or filling in for the Office Coordinator in keeping track of both non-medical and medical supplies for clinic
  • Assisting and/or filling in for the Office Coordinator with answering phones and scheduling appointments
  • Assisting the clinician in completing discharge checklist when requested
  • Assisting the Office Coordinator with mailing clinician progress letters
  • Daily chart and schedule preparation
  • Assisting both clinician and Office Coordinator with weekly patient follow-up
  • Maintaining a set schedule for work hours while demonstrating flexibility when necessary
  • Responsible for Marketing Tally (double checking each clinician has provided contact information and sending to corporate)
  • Assisting Office Coordinator with Daily Batch
  • Assisting in Facility orientation for new hires
  • Assist in the training of new rehabilitation aides
  • Ordering of supplies thru Reqlogic
  • Assist with ordering/ dealing with outside vendors
  • Assist with insurance verification
  • Completing tasks from Billing Office
  • Answering general aide questions, troubleshooting within clinic and delegating duties for off hours
  • Assist with managing Aide schedule (including Saturday schedule and Holiday Time Off Requests)
  • Performing other clinical and administrative duties and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications

Education and Experience: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

  • Previous Clinical Aide experience preferred
  • High school graduate
  • Current enrollment in pre-professional or professional school preferred
  • Interest in health care field preferred
  • Energetic and a team player
