Position Summary

The Strategy and Corporate Development Analyst is responsible for sales outreach and financial analysis to successfully support the company’s operations and growth plans, including the pursuit of strategic businesss opportunities, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), partnerships, alliances, joint ventures, and licensing agreements. This position will report to the Vice President of Strategy and Corporate Development, and will have broad and frequent interaction with senior management.



Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Research and analyze industry segments and competitive dynamics
  • Evaluate mergers, acquisitions, strategic partnerships, and other corporate development opportunities
  • Contact and participate in discussions with potential acquisition partners
  • Perform strategic and quantitative analyses to assist in determining appropriate valuations and deal structures, and conducting due diligence to execute corporate development opportunities
  • Work cross-functionally with internal and external teams during transaction due diligence
  • Leverage industry knowledge in evaluating and prioritizing corporate development pipeline
  • Assist in the creation of project-level forecasts for incorporation into a long-range planning process and analyze performance against objectives
  • Assist in the preparation of routine and ad hoc presentations and reporting packages for senior management and board reviewAdditional Duties and Responsibilities

  • Job Requirements/Specifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance or related field

  • Professional experience with a preference for sales, finance, business development or consulting experience
  • Working knowledge of accounting principles
