Position Summary:

The Supervisor, Project Management will be responsible for managing and coordinating new clinic openings, relocations, remodels, special projects, and corporate construction activities—from conceptual planning to project closeout. In this role, you’ll manage individually assigned projects while overseeing the Project Management team to ensure our timely progress on new clinic openings. We’ll count on you to mentor and lead the Project Management team, making sure the team’s milestones and deliverables are completed in accordance with our established standards, timelines, and departmental goals.



Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Manage assigned De Novo, relocation and remodel projects, special projects, and corporate projects
  • Lead the Project Management team and serve as its initial point-of-contact to resolve construction project issues, scheduling challenges, and other construction obstacles
  • Award, bid and manage external Project Management team
  • Assist and guide the PM team to guarantee all project issues are addressed and/or escalated in a timely fashion
  • Reinforce adherence to construction processes, ensuring the efficient review of site surveys and problem resolution on new locations
  • Manager internal department support including Purchasing, Marketing, IT, Billing to ensure project completion 
  • Assist the Purchasing with ensuring timely delivery and support on various initiatives
  • Escalate clinic issues in collaboration with internal partners, Real Estate, Operations, Marketing, and Finance teams
  • Work with the Contracts and Purchasing Manager to ensure the PM team complies with all closeout requirements
  • Lead the PM team to reduce overall project costs
  • Attend weekly meetings with support-level team members to review timelines, designs, and strategic questions related to store build-outs
  • Coordinate proposals and bid system wide contact for new and repetitive maintenance items as well as projects
  • Knowledge of the full spectrum of facilities management activities; ability to maintain, care for and develop commercial and physical facilities
  • Oversee process and team to receive and dispatch facility service requests to the appropriate staff, vendors or other services providers, ensuring prompt resolution and customer satisfaction. Schedules and monitors maintenance activities to minimize impact on the business


Qualifications

Job Requirements:

  • A self-starter with a thorough understanding of the retail construction project life cycle
  • Able to initiate, plan, oversee, and document all aspects of construction projects, ensuring that they’re completed on time and under budget
  • A skilled communicator who can articulate corrective measures to improve build quality and project performance
  • Familiar with location due diligence regarding base building conditions, layouts, dimensions, and engineering requirements
  • Backed by an extensive understanding of architectural plans, shop drawings, vendor proposals, and other documentation related to construction projects
  • Comfortable preparing bid packages for general contractors, leveling and negotiating bids, and making recommendations for contract awards

Education and Experience:

  • 5-7 years of work experience in the project management field preferred
    • Bachelor’s degree preferred
    • Intermediate MS Office skills including Excel, Work and Outlook
    • Experience establishing and maintaining relationship with individual at all levels of the organization
