Position Summary

The Vice President of Clinical Operations (VPCO) is responsible for the strategic and financial growth of the market, driving market leading outcomes, leadership and oversight of daily clinical and administrative operations within Athletico, providing a high-touch approach to achieve the highest levels of engagement and teamwork within the management team, while delivering brand advancement and exceptional service/patient centered care.   



Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

 

Execute strategic priorities through leadership, influence and coaching: Align and mobilize your team to support Athletico’s mission and strategies.

 

Deliver results (financial growth, patient outcomes/satisfaction): Develop operational plans and goals based on a deep understanding of internal and external trends and a demonstrated understanding of how this aligns to Athletico’s strategic initiatives. Measure performance against agreed upon deliverables and make appropriate adjustments to achieve expected results.

Driving culture and employee engagement: Model Athletico’s values and leadership behaviors. Understand and influence the drivers of employee engagement to help team members perform at their best.  

Leadership development and building effective teams: Manage and develop staff to include selection, work allocation, training, coaching and mentoring, problem resolution, and performance evaluation via timely feedback and corrective action plans.

Expert in their market (business acumen, internal/external relationships, competitive intelligence: Continuously develop expertise and gather information related to the market sector and competitors and provide evolving thought leadership and advance notification of business opportunities, risks, and other relevant information. Implement and protect Athletico’s strategic position in the marketplace, including identifying and developing opportunities for the company to increase market share. Develop, advance, and solidify relationships with external parties and physician networks to build business opportunities



Qualifications

Job Requirements/Specifications

Education and Experience:  The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy, Athletic Training, or a related field preferred, or equivalent work experience
  • 10 or more years managing teams, preferably in the healthcare industry, with experience managing multiple departments
  • Demonstrated success managing multi-state operations
